Copyrights and Licensing Policy

The Indonesian Journal of Feminist Legal Studies (IJFLS) respects and protects the intellectual property rights of authors. The journal applies an author retention copyright policy, in which authors retain the copyright of their published works while granting the journal the right of first publication.

By submitting a manuscript to IJFLS, authors agree that their work may be published, distributed, and made publicly available through the journal's publishing platform. Authors retain ownership of the copyright and may use their published work for educational, academic, and other lawful purposes, provided that the original publication in IJFLS is properly acknowledged.

All articles published by IJFLS are distributed under the terms of the:

Author Rights

Under the CC BY 4.0 license, authors retain the following rights:

  • The right to be recognized as the original author of the published work;

  • The right to share, distribute, and reuse their published article;

  • The right to deposit the published article in institutional repositories, personal websites, or academic networks;

  • The right to use the article for teaching, research, and other scholarly activities;

  • The right to create derivative works based on the article with proper acknowledgment.

Publisher Rights

By accepting publication, authors grant JUSTISIA GLOBAL EDUKASI (Publisher), through The Indonesian Journal of Feminist Legal Studies (IJFLS), the non-exclusive right to:

  • Publish and distribute the article in electronic and other appropriate formats;

  • Preserve and archive the published content;

  • Promote and disseminate the article through academic indexing services, repositories, and scholarly communication platforms.

Open Access Statement

IJFLS follows an Open Access publishing model, allowing readers worldwide to access, read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to the full texts of published articles without financial or technical barriers, in accordance with the terms of the CC BY 4.0 license.

The journal believes that open access to scholarly research promotes knowledge dissemination, encourages academic collaboration, and strengthens the global exchange of ideas in feminist legal studies and related fields.
